Rapid-response support:

Every contract type includes our rapid-response service, which ensures that you get the institution IT support you need it. With our core support model you will have direct access to our large Manchester-based Helpdesk team, all highly qualified and experienced support specialists, who are there to quickly log and respond to each ticket within 30 minutes.

We will also respond in clear and friendly language, leave us to deal with the tech jargon as we are there to support you. Support will be given between 8am -5.30pm during weekdays.

Modern classroom:

We will support your institution addressing the needs of a modern workforce, which may not all be in one building using traditional desktop stations. We will remotely support you where possible, using the latest cloud based systems to secure, support and manage devices regardless of them being in the HQ office or your home-workers front room.

Device management:

For institutions that use a Mobile Device Management (MDM) system, Sync Assist can help you to manage your MDM, including:

Purchasing apps in bulk and make them available automatically or through a Self Service catalog.
Going from new-in-box to ready-to-use with zero-touch deployment through Jamf and Apple School Manager.
Managing device settings and configurations, restrict malicious software, and patch Apple devices without user interaction.
Automatically collecting hardware, software and security configuration details from your Apple devices.
Going beyond configuration profiles, using policies and scripts to customise devices for the optimal user experience.

What are scheduled visits?

Sync offers customers the option to take scheduled support visits. These are regular on-site technical support sessions carried our by our engineers.

With this module we will visit your office(s) or workplace with scheduled visits (weekly, fortnightly or monthly), so we can carry out pro-active maintenance or complete support tickets which cannot be done remotely.

This typically helps institutions who have infrastructure at onsite, such as servers, firewalls or networks - even if all your workforce is not in the office they will probably be using services run from the office.

We will appoint a suitable lead Technician for these visits to assist with continuity and knowledge of your institution and site(s).

What is hardware cover?

To give you total peace of mind, we can cover your computer hardware, providing hardware-level support if they become non-functional. We will equip your workers with equivalent or better loan devices whilst we fix any non-functional devices.

As an Apple Authorised Service Provider, we carry out Apple repair and replacement services in-house. For non-Apple devices, we may carry out in-house repairs, or work with device manufacturers to process repairs as required.

We are also certified and accredited by most of the large IT vendors such as Google, Microsoft and Cisco.

Provides cover for devices up to the retail value of £2,000. T&Cs apply.

What is cloud backup?

Get peace of mind, knowing your files are backed up securely in the cloud - free of worry from hardware failure or theft. All data is stored in a secure datacenter with 24-hour staffing, biometric security and redundant power.

If total loss of data occurs in local backups/servers, we have you covered, and can restore and access your data - wherever you are in the world. We can also create backups of up to 10TB of storage per module, increasing space as you grow.

Security Policies are included for your Cyber accreditations or customer queries/tenders.

How do Sync help with Cyber Essentials?

With this module we will conduct a full security audit for your institution, backed up with monthly vulnerability scans for your peace of mind and constant monitoring.

We will also put your institution through the Government backed, NCSC Cyber Essentials accreditation, and pay for your 1st year exam. Sync will also include 3 custom Cyber Security policies, allowing you to guarantee total data security to your clients and teams.

What is asset management with an asset register?

Knowing what IT systems and devices you have may sound basic, but many institution like us to help keep track of their IT estate to ensure you have a secure, up-to-date and reliable estate so that your teams can get on with their jobs. We can also advise on upgrade paths and refresh cycles so you are never left behind.

This module includes asset tagging of your first 200 devices. Additional tags can be purchased outside of your contract as required.
