12 Months of Sync

If 2021 was the return to normality for most, 2022 was all about pushing boundaries – surpassing milestones and making a commitment to improve the world around us This is especially true for our team at Sync.

We want to take this opportunity to look back and share all of the things we’re proud to have achieved, as well as the things that made 2022 such a special year not only for us, but for the wonderful people we’ve worked with along the way.

New Year, New Faces, New Opportunities

We are immensely proud of our work in education. From supporting schools across the country to managing the rollout of over 38,000 devices to staff and students at Oasis Community Learning Trust, our team of Education Specialists have gone above and beyond for our education customers.

We wanted to continue this level of support by expanding our reach. To do this, we have doubled our Education Team by adding six new members over the last twelve months. Every new member of the team came with an abundance of experience and skills and we’re so proud to have them with us going into 2023.

Our team have also been on the road, speaking to end users about technology. In total we’ve exhibited at over 65 events since January and we have no plans on slowing down in 2023. Highlights included the BETT Show and CIPD Annual Conference.

Financial Milestones

We’re ending 2022 having surpassed some fantastic milestones. Sync is heading into 2023 with a 25.8% increase in turnover from last year (an incredible feat in itself), but that isn’t the only financial milestone we’ve hit in the last twelve months.

We recently announced sales of over £1 billion worth of Apple Technology since 2016. This is the culmination of six years of hard work from our fantastic team.

‘It’s fantastic to see the hard work of the Sync team over the years be recognised after reaching such an incredible milestone. We are so proud to have been given the opportunity to support so many organisations throughout the last three decades, and we plan to continue along this track for many more years to come

This announcement is a testament to the expertise and dedication of our teams who work all over the country to help schools and businesses realise the power of Apple technology.’ – Chris Costello, CEO

Lasting Relationships

2022 has allowed us to build connections with so many brilliant partners and has also given us the opportunity to develop our accreditations and framework placements to bolster those relationships even further.

We recently formed a partnership with Guide Dogs Association for the Blind, supporting the delivery of their Tech for All programme. The scheme allows visually impaired children to access the latest technology to aid and support them in their day-to-day lives.

We were also awarded all six lots on the CPC’s Software Licences & Associated Services for Academies and Schools, a framework that allows us to further support schools in their acquisition of technology.

Meanwhile, we became the first Apple Authorised Education Specialist in England to receive the Apple Professional Learning Provider accreditation. This accreditation lets us help educators develop their skills with Apple devices while ensuring that teachers feel confident to integrate technology into curriculum delivery.

Looking to 2023

Thank you to everyone who helped make this a year to remember. 2022 was a chance for us to push the boundaries of what’s possible not only within the tech space, but within our own company, too.

We can’t wait to see what 2023 has in store and would like to wish you and your families a safe and enjoyable festive break.
